Even though League of Legends is one of the most popular games in the world, its tutorial for newcomers is quite vague, but after a few years, League of Legends official youtube channel has put out something to change that. This “What is League of Legends” video is a new take on introducing players to the game. While it seems watered down for those who have been playing for years, if you have never played LoL, this is a great way to find out the basics in 5 minutes. For me, trying to explain League of Legends to other always seemed like a chore, but now I can just send them to this video. Easy and painless, unlike the game itself, but newcomers will have to learn the hard way. We can’t just hand them everything on a silver platter, though, we can at least give them a heads up before they try it out. And as always, LoL is free to play, so any newcomers that still aren’t enjoying the game haven’t lost anything out of pocket. Check out this video, even if you have been playing for awhile, the point is to get the basics down, and its good to keep all these in mind.
