With Dota2’s biggest tournament closing in, everybody is looking for new strategies to pull out, and Bloodseeker will be a part of that. Recently getting a rework has given this hero a boost and he might catch an unprepared team off guard. Skulz over at 2p.com has the idea that Bloodseeker might even dominate the tournament. I first thought that was a bold statement, but after reading things like:
The combo ability of Blood Rite and Bloodrage makes the hero more interesting in teamfights. The rework removed the silence on his buff and now you can boost all kinds of spells with it, but the power of Bloodrage is in that it opens up combinations of hero interactions which help swing matchups in Bloodseeker’s favour. For example Anti-Mage which can counter Blood seeker in the lategame by closing the gap loses his advantage when he is paired with a Lina, as stated by Team Secret’s S4 in a recent interview after ESL One Finals. This means that Bloodseeker then has an advantage not only in the mid game through Blood Rite silencing and engaging AM, but that a well put together Bloodseeker lineup can be considered favoured throughout all the game.
