Right off the bat, I feel I need to mention that Game Theory is one of my absolute favorite youtube shows! I love how seamlessly he blends games and real life, and how one effects the other in very interesting ways. It’s one of the few shows out there on the internet that really makes you think, even if it sometimes IS nothing more than wild speculation, but at the end of the day, the things he says are so well researched and sound so good, they just make sense. The other day, I posted his video equating eSports and “real” sports, which you can check out here, and today I bring you another, with a very interesting theme that you may want to watch. So many competitive gamers spend so much time on coming up with a winning strategy, but I would be willing to bet that there is a strategy they never ever once considered: Color. More specifically, Color Theory (which is fascinating enough in it’s own right, look it up) and how it relates to our sub-conscious when we play games competitively, both on a field AND on a computer! This might sound off topic or boring to you, but if there is even the SLIGHTEST chance that this info could be the only thing separating you from an overwhelming victory or a crushing defeat, then you owe it to yourself to pay full attention. So check out the video on the next page to see how basic Color Theory can not only change EVERYTHING in a competitive environment, but also how League of Legends and its brethren are not only the rule, but the EXCEPTION as well…
