The recent patches have done a ton of great things to CS:GO, especially to push the competitive scene further, but what about all the great custom maps and modes. With a huge tweak to the physics engine, there are a bunch of things you can no longer do in game, and it is cutting back on the interactions players have on each map. Over on the next page, we have a video going into these removal of these interactions and more, as 3kiliksphilip asks if CS:GO maps should be interactive. Valve doesn’t think so, but why not, as counter-strike has always had a bunch of barrels and other objects that you can manipulate in game. And if Valve is pushing CS:GO for purely competitive then what are all the custom map makers going to use? Check out the video and see what is going on with these big changes!
