We have 4 new cards from The Grand Tournament, Blizzard’s latest expansion to their popular free to play card game, Hearthstone. Two of these are class specific Legendary minions with powerful effects. One for Mage and one for Warrior, seems like we have almost rounded out all the Legendary cards in this set, but there are still a few left to spoil before the release later in August. Lets check out all these new cards!
First a hunter rare with beast synergy:
Anything from a Haunted Creeper to a King Crush! That RNG could win a few close games, but if you have nothing in play, a 5 mana 3/3 is pretty sad.
Next up we have a Shaman spell using the joust mechanic introduced with TGT:
Heal bot has no place in any Shaman deck now, and if you win the joust, you won’t mind missing the 3/3 body.
And now our Legendary minions, check out this 10 mana Warrior card:
Drawing 3 would be fine, I would like this card for that, but to put some extra bodies onto the field as well, sounds good. At 10 mana, taking up your whole turn has to do something game changing, and finally a there is a Legendary card for that.
And while Warrior has a Legendary with Battlecry, Mage gets one with Deathrattle:
Not as game changing as the other, but still, it is dangerous to give Mage that much damage for free.
We only need a few Legendary cards to wrap that level up, lets hope to see more soon as we get closer to the full release!
